ÉDH Flagship Session Package

 

ÉDH Flagship Session Package targets ALL of the following categories in this particular order: clothes, books, papers/documents, miscellaneous (komono)* including kitchen and bathroom, and sentimental objects. 

*komono is a Japanese word for small things/items and covers all the different subcategories in your home that are not clothes, books, documents, or sentimental items. The kitchen and bathroom are among the two bigger subcategories in the komono category. Other subcategories might be electronics, office supplies, health and beauty products, hobbies, pet`s items, tools and utilities, cleaning supplies, furniture and home decor, toys, etc. This can vary from home to home.

The first step of the initial session will be to discuss your goals for your home, but most importantly to find your « why » for tidying based on how you imagine your ideal lifestyle. Detecting your personal « why » will have a great impact on your motivation for the tidying process. Jovana will take inventory of your current situation and belongings and help you establish your objectives. Read more about the methods six basic rules here

After these crucial steps, we will start to apply the method and philosophy in the first category – your clothes. We will gather all the elements from the category, determine which ones you want to keep and which ones are to be discarded. We will end the session by setting up the best possible storage solution for the elements you have decided to keep, as well as a plan for the next category. 

Depending on the course of this initial session, it is possible that – for example – your shoes, jackets, handbags, and/or underwear are left to do as homework. Do not worry, by the end of the session you will understand the principles you will then apply to your homework. If you end up having some homework, Jovana will be available for you by email or messenger to support your tidying through the whole category. As sessions tend to last for up to 5 hours, homework might not be needed, but this is very individual.

Whether you want to sell, donate, or dispose the discarded clothes or objects will be discussed both before and during the session.

 

ÉDH Flagship Session Package includes: 

  • 7 sessions* up to 5 hours (35 hrs) of hands-on decluttering and organizing with Jovana, a Konmari Consultant in training. The sessions will take place over 7 days that will be accordingly planned to match both your and Jovana`s schedule.* Ideally, all the sessions should have taken place over a period of up to 3 months from the booking date, but this can be discussed in certain situations.
  • Decision-making guidance and support
  • Full training in folding clothes according to The KonMari Method™ 
  • Recommendations and implementation of storage and organization solutions that best suit your space and your needs. 
  • Establishment of storage systems in the entire home for every category
  • Recommendations and implementation of changes in habit and lifestyle
  • Interior design recommendations 
  • Tips and recommendations on where and how to sell or donate your discarded belongings**
  • An overview of any homework or improvement tasks will be sent to you by email after each session.

*even though there is a total of 5 categories to go through in The KonMari Method™, booking a full package that rather includes 7 sessions might ensure a non-stressful approach and more time to address the best possible storage solutions for your home. Remember also that the komono category can be very big and diverse and therefore takes time, often more than one session per undercategory (ex. kitchen). You can also conduct these extra sessions on your own, based on Jovanas best advise. No matter the time it takes, we will do our very best to ensure you too get that liberating and life-changing effect of the full tidying festival process. 

*booking a Flagship Session Package, rather than separate sessions, ensures the most effective approach in decluttering by having booked 7 sessions that you will have to conduct in 3 months. This means faster results where you will quickly enjoy the return of the investment in a completely changed home environment.

**as per today, Jovana is not able to offer removing of your discarded items from your home, but will gladly help you gather them in one spot and prepare for pick up. This excludes heavy furniture or similar.

Additional session

After conducted 7 sessions, you can book as many additional ones as needed. However, many clients finish their decluttering journey during the initial sessions and manage to do the last small adjustments (if any) by themselves.
